What types of radios do you rent?
We rent the Motorola CP200 and the Motorola PR400. These are both analog radios, offering 16 channels, and operate on the UHF band.
Are you FCC licensed?
We are fully licensed to rent and operate our radios nationwide! Our call sign is: WRFV393
How long will each battery last?
Our high capacity (2500 mAH) batteries provide upwards of 12 - 14 hours of runtime. We always include two batteries with each radio to ensure you are always connected.
What is the communication range of the radios?
Our radios transmit with 4 watts of power, 8x stronger than the standard radios that can be purchased at your local electronics store.
Do you offer accessories?
Yes! We carry Surveillance Earpieces, Remote Speaker Microphones, and Over The Head (PTT) Headsets. One accessory can be added with each radio rental, free of charge!
Do you include chargers with each rental?
Yes, we do! For every ten radios rented, you will receive one six-bay charger. For orders of four radios or less, we include two single-bay chargers. We will be sure to include the total number of chargers on your quote.
Can you program radios?
If you would like us to match our radios to yours, please provide us with a frequency list. Please note that our radios operate on the UHF band and will not communicate with VHF radios.
What is a repeater?
A repeater is a separate unit that allows for extended communications coverage. It is specifically programmed to work with our radios and will enable you to reach dramatically further distances. We rent the Motorola XPR 8300 and are happy to assist with on-site setup.
Do you ship radios?
We ship nationwide and can provide a shipping quote upon request. We are flexible with our billing for shipped orders as well. If you have any special shipping requests, please let us know!
Do you offer rental specials?
We offer a weekend, one-day rental special for orders picked up on Thursday or Friday and returned to us Monday morning. If you have any specific questions regarding rental periods, please call or email us!
Do you offer tech support?
Yes! We will happily show your team how to operate the radios and also offer support in the event that gear is damaged, lost, or if you experience issues during your rental. We can offer support over the phone or via email. If you are working locally within NYC and we are unable to troubleshoot the issue, we will deliver replacement equipment directly to you!
How are billing days calculated?
Billing days are calculated based on the duration of the rental. We do not count the will call pick up day or delivery day towards billing. For example, if you pick up an order on a Tuesday and return by 12 PM on Thursday, this will be billed for one day. If you need to extend your order, please let us know as soon as possible to confirm availability.
Can you deliver and pickup orders?

Is equipment disinfected before each rental?
All equipment is sanitized before and after each rental. The health and wellness of our customers and our community is a top priority during the COVID-19 pandemic. In addition to thorough sanitization of our equipment, our staff has been certified with the Safe Sets™ Covid-19 (Level A) program.
Where are you located?
Our office is located at 19 N. Oxford Street, Studio 9, Brooklyn, NY 11205. We are directly next to the Brooklyn Navy Yard.
